Skin Tip: Sun Sensitivity and Medication!

Happy Friday everyone!

If you noticed that lately you’re more prone to getting sunburned all of a sudden, certain medications may be the culprit.  Antibiotics, anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen and antihistamines like Benadryl can cause you to be more sensitive to the sun.  Always use sunscreen and wear wide-brimmed hats and sunglasses to further protect you from the sun.

Have a great weekend and make sure to stay hydrated and protected.

      • True! I consume anti-inflammatory meds often actually with my health issues but I’m always indoors a lot anyway. 🙂

      • Especially with this heat I bet. It’s like an oven once you step your foot out. Hopefully you’ll find some relief travelling to Michigan, at least for a little bit. 🙂

      • Yes exactly! It’s an oven out there! lol. I try to avoid going out as much as possible. Though apparently we’re bringing the heat with us to Michigan because it’s going be in the 80’s there and that comes with humidity unfortunately. I’ve been so used to dry heat. It will be nice to get away though. 🙂
